WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This two-week program offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their writing and publishing talents. Under the guidance of experienced GVWP Teacher Consultants, participants gain new confidence and skills in an atmosphere that is optimal for productivity and learning. Every day, our young authors learn new skills, collaborate with peers, and utilize computers. They explore tools and techniques appropriate to their grade level as they polish, present, and publish their work.

Publishing Projects Include:
· Multimedia Writing Projects
· Internet Publishing on Website
· Digital Student Anthology

"The experience was great... I was surprised that I could write as well as I did.”                                                                                                                                    -- Austin, 2010 participant
